Now that the whirlwind of our big move is over and we are settled into our new location, we want to take some time to recognize and thank the following community members and businesses that donated their time, labour, and materials to help us get our new space move in ready!!
Firstly we need to thank our board member Grant McKinnon, for his unwavering commitment to get everything we needed done in order for us to move in as quickly as possible. Grant put in a lot of hours of labour as well as the time he spent reaching out to businesses and trades people to find good deals for the agency. We are so lucky to have Grant on our board and will forever be grateful for his enthusiasm and commitment to the agency.
The Finlayson family were incredibly generous during the process of purchasing the building. They gave CVYS an incredibly generous donation off the cost of the purchase, which allowed us to make the necessary changes to the building in order to make it function more for our needs.
We are so appreciative of the following individuals and businesses who donated and volunteered their time, labour costs, and materials to help facilitate a skilled renovation in a very short period of time!
