CVYS COVID-19 Office Health and Safety Protocol
We have put in the following measures to keep our staff and clients safe during this time.
All clients and visitors are asked to wear a mask inside the building. We have masks available, please ask at the front desk.
Clients and visitors are asked to use hand sanitizer upon entering the building.
Clients are asked to stay home if feeling sick or experiencing symptoms such as a fever, flu like symptoms, cough and sore throat, or as listed on the BC CDC website. Please let your counsellor know if you are un-able to attend a session due to sickness.
Counselling rooms are cleaned and disinfected as needed, through out the day, as well as all commonly touched surfaces such as door knobs and taps.
Staff are asked to stay home if feeling unwell or experiencing flu like symptoms. Staff are required to wash hands for 20 seconds with warm water and soap, once entering the office, as well as washing hands as appropriate throughout the day.
Masks and face shields are made available to staff to use in the office and during sessions with clients.
We are committed to being a low barrier service to the youth and community, and will be accommodating to the needs and concerns of our client’s and families, as well as maintaining health and safety guidelines for staff and clients.
