COVID Protocol

CVYS COVID-19 Office Health and Safety Protocol

We have put in the following measures to keep our staff and clients safe.

At this time, Masks are optional. If clients prefer that their counsellor wears a mask during session, we are happy to accommodate. Please let your counsellor or the front desk know if you would like us to wear masks when you come in. We have masks available, please ask at the front desk.

Clients and visitors are asked to use hand sanitizer upon entering the building.

Clients are asked to stay home if feeling sick or experiencing symptoms such as a fever, flu like symptoms, cough and sore throat, or as listed on the BC CDC website. Please let your counsellor know if you are un-able to attend a session due to sickness.

Counselling rooms are cleaned and disinfected as needed, as well as all commonly touched surfaces such as door knobs and taps.

Staff are asked to stay home if feeling unwell or experiencing flu like symptoms. Staff are required to wash hands for 20 seconds with warm water and soap, once entering the office, as well as washing hands as appropriate throughout the day.

We are committed to being a low barrier service to the youth and community, and will be accommodating to the needs and concerns of our client’s and families, as well as maintaining health and safety guidelines for staff and clients.
